Die Acturion Datasystem
GmbH in 82054 Sauerlach bei München in Bayern ist ein Systemhaus für
professionelle IT-Lösungen . Angeboten werden unter Anderem

. Ganz neu im Programm sind jetzt auch die
UMPC
, welche auch Origami
genannt werden. Selbstverständlich sind die Produkte auch einzeln
als Industrie PC ,
Tablet PC oder Industrie PC erhältlich. Die Industrierechner
und Pen PCs aus Bayern haben teilweise eine Militär Standard wie zum
Beispiel die
MIL - STD810F
. Diese werden dann als
Militär PC oder mehrere als Militär PCs bezeichnet. Ebenfalls im
Programm bei Acturion in Sauerlach , einem großen Systemhaus in der
Nähe von München , werden sogenannte
Slate PCs
zum Beispiel von der
Firma Motion Computing , dem weltweit größten Hersteller von Tablet
PCs . So ein
Tablet PC
ist eine Art
Notebook
nur ohne Tastatur bzw.
Keyboard. Die Motion Tablet PCs eignen sich nicht für das
Military-Mobile-Computing , da diese nicht ausreichend geschützt
sind. Falls man auf die robuste Bauweise eines Rechners Wert legt ,
sollte man zu ruggedized Pen PCs oder Militär PCs, www.getac.de München
zurückgreifen. Diese verfügen dann nach Wunsch über die oben
genannte Militärnorm MIL-STD810F Bayern oder aber auch über die
Industrienorm IP-54 oder IP-64. Im Acturion Systemhaus München
werden diese rugged Outdoor Notebooks geprüft und konfiguriert.
Ebenso die Tablet. Die angebotenen Modelle von Münchens Systemhaus
in Sauerlach können es locker mit den Konkurrenten CF29 , CF18 oder
CF-29 und CF-18 aufnehmen. Unschlagbar ist Acturin allerdings bei
Outdoor-Notebook s. Finden können Sie auch Ultra mobile PCs mit
Intel Prozessor oder Prozessoren wie zum Beispiel Intel Centrino
Mobiltechnologie mit dem Intel Pentium M Low Voltage 758 - Prozessor
mit 2 MB Level2 - Cache ( L2 Cache ) , 1,5 GHz CPU und 400 MHz FSB (
Front Side Bus ) oder Intel Celeron M Ultra Low Voltage 383 -
Prozessor mit 512 KB L2-Cache , 1 GHz CPU und nicht 800MHz sonder
400 MHz FrontSideBus ( FSB ). Ausgeliefert werden die Tablet PC s
immer mit dem Microsoft Betriebssystem Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
mit Service Pack 2 ( SP2 ). Die Slate PCs von Motion Computing , der
LS800 , der LE1600 und der LE160ts mit Touchscreen , verfügen über
einen Intel 915GMS Chipsatz . Das ausgezeichnete sonnenlichtlesbare
Display , bei Motion ViewAnyWhere Display genannt , welches mit
aktiven Digital Stift , einem Digitizer , bedient wird und einen
Blickwinkel von 180 Grad hat , ist optional im OnlineShop erhältlich.
Ausgestattet sind die Centrino Modelle standardmäßig mit 512 MB
Arbeitsspeicher ( RAM ) und können 1,5 GB ( Giga Byte RAM )
aufgerüstet werden. Bei den Celeron Geräten ist das Maximum bei 1,25
GByte erreicht. Beide unterstützen den schnellen 400 MHz DDR2
Speicher. Für ausreichend Platz für die Daten sorgt eine 1,8" ( Zoll
) große Festplatte ( HDD ) mit wahlweise 30 oder 60 GB Speicherplatz.
Auch für die nötigen Kommunikations - Ports ist gesorgt. So zum
Beispiel verfügen die Gerät über eine integrierte Intel Pro Wireless
2200 b/g Netzwerkverbindung. Auch wird von Acturion . com eine
Convertible Tastatur angeboten. So kann man das Gerät von Motion
auch als Notebook verwenden. Die Tablet PC's können zwar outdoor
benutzt werden aber eignen sich nicht für den Einsatz unter
erschwerten Bedingungen. Die meisten Modelle die das Acturion
Datensysteme Systemhaus anbietet lassen sich such kinderleicht mit
einer car - Halterung im Auto befestigen und mit einem Auto Adapter
mit Strom versorgen. Im Shop finden Sie das passende Zubehör auch
für ihr Car bzw. Auto. Wirklich zu vergleichen mit handelsüblichen
Laptop s sind die rugged Geräte allerdings nicht da sie , anders als
bei Lenovo , teilweise eine Industrie Norm wie z.B. IP54 und IP67
besitzen. Tetranote , wie bei Logic Instrument , heißen die Geräte
bei Acturion natürlich nicht. Die Ausführungen von Acturion Datasys
GmbH heißen Victum-Note , Victum-Tablet , Victum-Rack und stammen
somit aus der Victum Series. Die Victum Series findet großen Anklang
bei Polizei , Ambulanz und auch der Feuerwehr - die Ihr Vertrauen

München, 04.04.2007 - Acturion Datasys bietet mit dem neuen Motion
Computing Tablet PC LE1700 einen der leistungsstärksten Tablet PC
mit 12,1â SXGA Wide Screen Bildschirm an. Der Tablet PC LE1700 ist
die konsequente Weiterentwicklung des sehr erfolgreichen LE1600 von
Motion Computing. Der neue Tablet PC LE1700 hat bedeutend an
Leistung zugelegt und dabei konnte der Stromverbrauch trotzdem noch
reduziert werden, dank neuester Intel Core 2 Duo
Prozessortechnologie.
Der LE1700 Tablet PC eignet sich ideal für Einsätze in vertikalen
Märkten wie Spedition und Logistik, Maschinensteuerung, Kiosksysteme,
HotelgeÂwerbe, Einzelhandel und Gesundheitswesen.
Der LE1700 Tablet-PC hat die Form eines Clipboards und wird mit
Hilfe eines Digitizer Stiftes bedient. Später, ab Juli 2007, wird es
den LE1700 auch als so genannte WT (Write Touch) Version geben. Bei
der Write Touch Version handelt es sich um einen Hybriden, der
gleichzeitig mit Touch Screen und Digitizer ausgestattet ist. Der
Tablet PC LE1700WT kann also wahlweise mit Digitizer Stift oder
Finger bedient werden. Zum Serienstart im Mai 2007 gibt es den
LE1700 Tablet PC nur mit Digitizer Stiftbedienung. Bereits zum
Serienstart kann der LE1700 Tablet PC wahlweise mit dem bewährten
Betriebssystem Windows XP Tablet Edition oder Windows Vista Business
bestellt werden.
Der Tablet PC LE1700 basiert auf dem kompakten, ergonomischen Design
des LE1600 von Motion Computing. Bestückt ist der LE1700 Tablet PC
mit dem Intel Core 2 Duo L7400 1,5-GHz Prozessor, mit 4MB L2-Cache,
Niederspannung und FSB 667MHz. Als Chipsatz kommt der schnelle Intel
945Express Chipsatz zum Einsatz. Als Einstiegsvariante gibt es den
LE1700 Tablet PC auch noch mit einem Intel CoreâSolo-Prozessor LV
U1400, mit 2 MB L2-Cache, 1,2 GHz, 533 MHz FSB. In der
Grundausstattung hat der LE1700 Tablet PC bereits 1GB Hauptspeicher,
damit auch speicherintensive Applikationen rasch ablaufen, maximal
lässt sich der Hauptspeicher auf 4GB aufrüsten. Hierbei wird ein
667MHz DDR2-Speicher mit Dual Channel-Speicherunterstützung
verwendet.
Bei der Zugriffs- und Datensicherheit bietet der LE1700 Tablet PC
von Motion Computing neueste Technik an. Ein Fingerprint-Scanner ist
standardmäßig eingebaut, dazu kommt ein TCG Trusted Platform Module
(TPM) und, ganz neu, das Motion DataGuard System. Motion DataGuard
schützt die Festplatte immer dann, wenn der in dem Motion LE1700
Tablet PC integrierte Schocksensor eine Situation erkennt, die
möglicherweise die Festplatte beschädigen könnte, wie z. B. ein
Sturz oder eine Erschütterung. Dieses Schutzsystem hält die
Festplatte an, indem die Lese-/Schreibköpfe der Festplatte auf
Bereiche verschoben werden, die keine Daten enthalten, und stoppt,
falls erforderlich, die Rotation der Scheiben der Festplatte. Das
Schutzsystem schaltet die Festplatte wieder ein, wenn der
Schocksensor eine stabile Umgebung feststellt. Motion DataGuard wird
über die Systemsteuerung aktiviert und kann je nach persönlicher
Anforderung auf drei verschiedene Empfindlichkeitsstufen eingestellt
werden.
Im Bereich Display bringt Motion Computing mit dem LE1700 Tablet PC
eine wirkliche Neuheit heraus. Erstmals wird im LE1700 ein Wide
Screen 12,1â TFT Display mit SXGA Auflösung mit 1.400 x 1.024
Bildpunkten angeboten. Wie bereits seit Generationen gewohnt kann
auch hier wieder zwischen dem normalen Indoor Display gewählt werden
und dem sonnenlichtlesbaren View Anywhere Display. Egal für welches
man sich entscheidet, beide Varianten haben beinahe 180Â Blickwinkel
nach allen Seiten â immer bleiben die Farben brillant und das Bild
bleibt feinkörnig.
Mit dem Standardakku beträgt die Akkulaufzeit mehr als drei Stunden.
Optional kann diese mit einem Lithium-Polymer-Akku erhöht werden,
der auf der Rückseite des Tablet-PCs angebracht wird. Kommen beide
Akkus zum Einsatz steigt die Akkulaufzeit auf bis zu sechs Stunden.
Zur flexiblen, drahtlosen Kommunikation verfügt der LE1700 Tablet PC
über eine Intel-PRO/Wireless 3945a/b/g-Netzwerkverbindung und eine
Bluetooth-Schnittstelle. Eine IrDA-Schnittstelle gestattet zudem die
schnelle, kabellose Synchronisation mit PDAs und PoS-Peripherie.
Ferner ist der LE1700 Tablet PC mit zwei USB-2.0-Ports, einem
anwenderdefinierten Digital-Video-Interface-Port (DVI-D),
10/100/1000-Ethernet-LAN-Controller mit RJ-45-Port (Gigabit
Ethernet) sowie einem Anschluss für einen externen VGA-Monitor
bestückt. Weitere technische Merkmale sind eine 1,8-Zoll-Festplatte
mit 30 GByte oder 60 GByte Kapazität sowie PC-Card CardBus und
Secure-Digital-(SD)Steckplätze.
Im Tablet PC LE1700 bietet Motion Computing optional integrierte
Mobile-Breitbandtechnologie an. Dadurch ist die grenzenlose
Kommunikation jederzeit und überall möglich. Mit der integrierten
Mobile-Breitbandverbindung 3G/HSDPA-Minicard kann man sich jederzeit
mobil in Breitbandnetze einloggen. Die integrierte Minicard
unterstützt HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE und GPRS und ist abwärts kompatibel
mit UMTS-Netzwerken (WCDMA) mit 850/1900/2100 MHz sowie mit EDGE/GPRS-Netzwerken
mit 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
Untergebracht ist der Tablet PC LE1700 in einem schlanken Gehäuse
mit AbmesÂsungen von 296 mm x 245 mm x 18,7 mm. Der untere
Gehäuseteil besteht aus einer MagnesiumleÂgierung, der obere
Gehäuseteil aus KohlefasermiÂschung. So bietet das Gerät eine
optimale Kombination aus Langlebigkeit und geringem Gewicht. Der
Tablet PC arbeitet im Temperaturbereich von +5ÂC bis +35ÂC bei einer
Luftfeuchtigkeit zwischen 8% und 80%.
Acturion Datasys bietet den Tablet PC LE1700 ab Mai 2007 zu einem
Preis ab 1.649,- Euro inklusive Mehrwertsteuer für das
Einstiegsmodel mit Core Solo Prozessor an, die Core 2 Duo Variante

Modular erweiterbares full-ruggedized
Industrie und Militär Notebook mit Intel Core Duo Technologie
Acturion Datasys präsentiert eines der leistungsstärksten Notebooks
für den Militärmarkt
Die Acturion Datasys GmbH ( www.acturion.com ), führendes Systemhaus
im Bereich Industrial- und Military Mobile Computing, präsentiert
mit dem neuen Victum-Note A12 und mit dem neuen Victum-Note A14 die
momentan leistungsfähigsten full-ruggedized Militärnotebooks. Zwei
Basismodelle stehen zur Verfügung, die sich lediglich in der
Displaygröße unterscheiden. Das Victum-Note A12 hat ein XGA 12,1â
TFT Display hat mit einer Auflösung von 1.024 x 768 Bildpunkten und
das Victum-Note A14 hat ein XGA 14,1â TFT Display, ebenfalls mit
einer Auflösung von 1.024 x 768 Bildpunkten. Beide Ausführungen sind
auch mit sonnenlichtlesbarem Display erhältlich, das A12 zusätzlich
auch noch mit einem resistiven Touch Screen.
Die Geräte der Victum-Note A Serie sind ganz auf die Anforderungen
aus dem Bereich Militär getrimmt. Das Gehäuse besteht aus einer
speziellen, hochfesten Leichtmetall Magnesium Legierung, die die
gesamte Konstruktion extrem robust macht und dabei bleibt das
Gewicht mit 5,7kg recht gering. Die Victum-Note A Serie ist
lüfterlos! Die anfallende Abwärme wird durch Heat Pipes auf das
Metallgehäuse verteilt. Neben der Ingress Protection Klasse IP54
erfüllt die Victum-Note A Serie auch die Militärzulassung
MIL-STD810F und als besondere Option gibt es auch noch die
Zertifizierung nach Militärnorm MIL-STD461E (TEMPEST) womit die
Abhörsicherheit der Geräte geprüft wird. Die Victum-Note A Serie ist
für den Militärmarkt entwickelt worden, aber auch der Einsatz im
Bereich Polizei- und Rettungswesen oder Industrie ist denkbar.
Im Inneren der Victum-Note A Serie werkelt modernste Intel Core Dual
Prozessor Technologie. Der Yonah Core Duo Prozessor mit 1,66GHz
Taktrate macht mit dem schnellen DDR2 RAM (bis 2GB) richtig Dampf
und selbst komplexe Rechenoperationen laufen in atemberaubender
Geschwindigkeit ab. Als weitere Standardausstattung ist enthalten:
512MB RAM, 80GB SATA Festplatte, auf Wunsch mit Heizung für
erweiterten Temperaturbereich bis -20ÂC, ein Gigabit LAN RJ45
Anschluss, ein 56K Modem RJ11 Anschluss, eine RS232 Schnittstelle
mit D-Sub Stecker, ein LPT1 Anschluss, zwei USB 2.0 Anschlüsse, 2
PCMCIA Steckplätze Typ II, eine IrDA Schnittstelle, je ein Audio
Eingang und Ausgang und ein DC Eingang. Folgende weitere Optionen
können geordert werden: Hintergrund beleuchtete Tastatur
(Beleuchtung abschaltbar), Touchpad handschuhbedienbar, WLAN Modul
802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth und ein Fingerprint Sensor für biometrische
User-Anmeldung per Fingerabdruck.
Nicht nur die extrem robuste Konstruktion der Victum-Note A Serie
und die hohe Rechenleistung machen die Geräte im Militärmarkt
einzigartig sondern auch noch die modulare Erweiterbarkeit. Mit
Hilfe einer Unterschale lassen sich in die Geräte der A Serie zwei
ISA, zwei PCI oder, ganz neu, zwei PCI Express Erweiterungskarten
einbauen. Die Karten können volle Bauhöhe haben und maximal 210mm
lang sein. Darüber hinaus verfügt die Victum-Note A Serie über
Erweiterungsschächte, Media Bays genannt, mit deren Hilfe die Geräte
für verschiedenste Anwendungen optimal konfiguriert werden können.
Insgesamt stehen für die zwei Media Bays 13 verschiedene Module zur
Verfügung. Für die Media Bay 1 gibt es entweder einen Zusatzakku,
einen DVD-Brenner bzw. DVD combo Laufwerk oder eine zusätzliche 80GB
Festplatte. Für die Media Bay 2 gibt es folgende neun Module: Ein
32bit PCMCIA Modul mit weiteren zwei Steckplätzen Typ I/II, ein
Steckmodul mit zwei RS232 Schnittstellen mit D-Sub Anschluss oder
ein RS422 Modul mit ebenfalls zwei D-Sub Anschlüssen, ein GPS Modul
mit eingebauter Antenne, ein Wireless EVDO Modem, ein Wireless HSDPA
Modem, ein weiterer Wechselakku, ein fest eingebautes Floppylaufwerk
und einen SmartCard Reader.
Für den Einsatz und Einbau in Fahrzeugen gibt es eine Vehicle
Docking Mount mit DC Stromversorgung. Für den Einbau in
Kettenfahrzeugen oder Hubschraubern mit extrem starken Vibrationen
gibt es zusätzlich noch ein Ultra Shockmount, auf das die
Victum-Note A Serie montiert werden kann.
Für den sicheren Transport gibt es eine gepolsterte Tragetasche,
dazu wahlweise einen individuell gefertigten Transportkoffer mit
ausgeformtem Schaumstoffkern. Die Acturion Datasys GmbH bietet die
Victum-Note A Serie bereits zu Preisen ab 3.995 Euro, zuzüglich

the most powerful full-ruggedized Military Notebooks. The A12 and
the A14 share the same base they just have different display sizes.
The Victum-Note A12 has a XGA 12.1â TFT display with a resolution of
1,024 x 768 pixels whereas the Victum-Note A14 has a 14.1â TFT
display with the same resolution. Both units can be ordered with
standard display or sunlight readable high contrast display, for the
A12 there is additionally a resistive Touch Screen available.
The Victum-Note A Series is designed for the Military market. The
housing is completely sealed and made of a special light metal die
cast alloy which makes the A Series very ruggedized and keeps its
weight at a low level of 12lbs. only. The Victum-Note A Series is
fan less! Inside the hermetically sealed housing heat pipes transfer
the heat produced by the CPU to the metal housing so the housing
acts as heat sink. The housing of the A Series fulfils Ingress
Protection class IP54 (NEMA 4) and the Military standard
MIL-STD810F. MIL-STD461E (Tempest) is special option. The
Victum-Note A Series is designed for the specifications of the
Military market but can also be used in the law enforcement and
rescue services.
The Victum-Note A Series is equipped with the latest Intel Core Dual
Processor Technology. The powerful Yonah Core Duo Processor running
at 1.66GHz clock rate and the fast DDR2 RAM (up to 2GB) let even

accommodate 1 additional battery, 1 DVD-RW or 1 DVD combo drive, 1
additional 80GB HDD. Media Bay 2 can accommodate the following 9
modules: 1 32bit PCMCIA module with another 2 Type I/II slots, 1
plug-in module with another 2 RS232 D-Sub ports or 1 RS422 module, 1
GPS module with built-in mouse antenna, 1 wireless EVDO modem, 1
wireless HSDPA modem, another exchangeable battery, additional FDD
or a SmartCard Reader.
For the installation in vehicles there is a Vehicle Docking Mount
available with DC Car Adapter. For the use in tanks or helicopters
with extreme vibrations the Victum-Note A Series notebooks can be
bolted on a Ultra Shock Mount.
Normally the A Series notebooks come with a padded soft carrying
case. For more rugged transport Acturion offers a handcrafted
transit cases with a shock absorbing inlay for the notebook and

All full-ruggedized notebooks have the big disadvantage that they
loose their IP54 (NEMA4) rating once a peripheral is connected to
the USB ports or other ports. Now Acturion has developed a solution
for that problem! Acturion has developed 2 MIL-CON Boxes â MIL CON
Box 1 is placed on the rear of the Victum-Note and offers waterproof
connectors for LAN, Modem, DC Power-In, VGA, Audio In and Out and
LPT1. The MIL-CON Box 2 is placed on the right side of the
Victum-Note and offers 2 waterproof USB 2.0 ports and 1 PS/2 or 1
Firewire port.
The customer can chose among a variety of LEMO-, Fischer- or
Amphenol connectors. The maximum diameter of the connectors must not
exceed 25mm or 1 Inch. The development of the MIL-CON Box was
inspired and guided by requests and suggestions from Acturion
customers. The Pin-Out of the connectors installed in the MIL-CON
Boxes can be defined by the customer.

Alle full-ruggedized Notebooks haben den gravierenden Nachteil, dass
sie ihre Schutzklasse IP54, Spritzwasserdichtigkeit und
Staubdichtigkeit verlieren, sobald externe Geräte angeschlossen
wurden über RS232 oder USB.
Acturion hat diesen gravierenden Nachteil mit der Entwicklung der
MIL-CON Box 1 und 2 beseitigt. Mit Hilfe der MIL-CON Box können alle
Schnittstellen am Victum-Note 14-2 und 15-2 absolut wasserdicht nach
IP65 am Notebook installiert werden. Die MIL-CON Box 1 und 2 kann
standardmäßig mit LEMO-, Fischer- oder Amphenolsteckern geordert
werden. Es können alle Stecker mit einem maximalen Durchmesser von
25mm oder 1 Zoll verbaut werden. Das Pin-Out, also die
Steckerbelegung kann dabei vom Kunden selbst bestimmt werden.
Die MIL-CON Box 1 und 2 wurde speziell nach zahlreichen
Kundenanfragen und Kundenwünschen entwickelt. Potenzielle Anwender
kommen hier von zivilen Einsatzkräften im freien Feld, wie dem
Vermessungswesen, technischem Außendienst, Monteuren oder auch
Polizei- und Rettungswesen. Darüber hinaus natürlich auch aus allen
militärischen Bereichen. Mit dem Victum-Note können nun
beispielsweise Service- und Wartungsarbeiten an Militärflugzeugen im
Freien durchgeführt werden, was in der Vergangenheit problematisch
war.

The Acturion Datasys GmbH ( www.acturion.com ), specialized solution

powerful full-ruggedized Notebooks. Basically there are two versions
available which have either an XGA 14.1â TFT display with a
resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels that is the Victum-Note 14-2 and
there is the Victum-Note 15-2 which has a 15â TFT display with a
resolution of 1,400 x 1,050 pixels. Both models are also available
with sunlight readable hi-contrast displays and/or with touch
screen.
The Victum-Notes are designed for the use in environments with
extremely harsh conditions like shock, vibration, low and high
temperature, splash water, dust, sand and EMC. In the past
industrial notebooks were heavy, clumsy, bulky, hardly available and
equipped with obsolete electronic. With the release of the new
Victum-Note from Acturion this is the past. The Victum-Note is
light, comparatively small, available within 3-4 weeks ARO and they
carry the latest processor technology. Even though the housing of
the Victum-Note is completely made of light metal magnesium die cast
alloy the Victum-Note weighs 8.5lbs only. With these features the
Victum-Note is the ideal companion for technical outdoor
maintenance, law enforcement, emergency rescue services and soldiers
in mission. The Victum-Note fulfils Ingress Protection class IP54
(NEMA 12) and the military standard MIL-STD810F. Additionally there
is also the military standard MIL-STD461E available.
The Victum-Note has no internal fans and comes with a completely
hermetic closed full metal housing. The surface of the housing is
treated with a special hardened coating. The housing carries fixed
rubber bumpers on all sides to absorb any shock and vibration. As
the Victum-Note does not have any fan inside so heat pipes transfer
the heat of the CPU to the housing which works as a heat sink.
Operating temperature is between 0ÂC and +55ÂC, standard. For
extreme low temperatures the Victum-Note can be ordered with a HDD
heating and screened components which expands the operating
temperature to -20ÂC.
The Victum-Note is based on a 1.667 GHz Intel Core Duo L2400
Processor with 667MHz FSB and 2MB L2 Cache. With this CPU power even
complex arithmetic operations are done in no time. For applications
where more video power is needed the Victum-Note can be ordered with
a powerful ATI M54 graphics and 128MB of VRAM. The standard video
uses an on-board Intel GMA950 chipset with 128MB of shared memory.
The other technical features of the Victum-Note are: Up to 2 GB of
RAM, a shock mounted 2.5â 80GB removable SATA HDD which is
expandable to 200 GB and more I/O-Ports like, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 VGA
connector for an external CRT or LCD, 1 RS232 port D-Sub 9, 1
microphone jack, 1 infrared IrDA port and 1 line-out jack. For the
communication in networks the Victum-Note has one
10/100/1000-Base-T-LAN port with RJ45 connector, one 56K modem with
RJ11 connector and an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945a/b/g WLAN port. Other
wireless options are an internal GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/WCDMA/HSDPA
module with built-in antenna. For worldwide navigation the
Victum-Note can be equipped with an internal GPS receiver and built
in antenna. A Bluetooth module v2.0, class1 with 100m range is
option an SD Card slot is standard and the standard built in PS/2
port can be replaced by an IEEE1394 Firewire port. Last but not
least the Victum-Note offers 2 PCMCIA slots type I/II and/or 1x slot
type III with CardBus support.
The Victum-Note has an operating temperature range from â20ÂC up to
+55ÂC. With the exchangeable Lithium-Ion battery the Victum-Note
runs up to 4hrs. on battery and an additional battery which can be
installed instead of the DVD combo drive adds another 4hrs. An
AC-Adapter with 100V to 240V, 50/60HZ, autoswitching- and
autosensing is standard; a 12V to 32V DC car adapter is option.
A soft padded carrying case is standard option for the Victum-Note,
special option for extreme protection is a full-ruggedized

The Tablet PC has a totally closed full-metal housing made of tough

The Victum-Tablet 27 is based on a 1.1 GHz
Intel-Ultra-Low-Voltage-Pentium-M-733-Processor. The Tablet PC is a
slate without keyboard. As an option a wireless keyboard IP54 is
available which can communicate wireless via infrared port with the
Tablet PC. The Victum-Tablet 27 has a 10.4 Inch XGA-TFT-Display with

unit is less than 5 lbs. with 2 batteries. The standard temperature
range operational
is 0ÂC through +60ÂC, storage -40ÂC through +70ÂC. For
lower operation temperatures there is a low-temp-option available.
This option includes a HDD heating, screened components and a

Der Outdoor Laptop verfügt über ein lüfterloses,
vollkommen geschlossenes Leichtmetallgehäuse aus einer
Magnesium-Legierung, dessen Oberfläche speziell entspiegelnd
beschichtet und gehärtet ist. An den Gehäuseecken befinden sich
Gummi-Stoßecken, die die größten Stöße und Schläge auf das Gerät
absorbieren. Das Victum-Note 12 ist lüfterlos und die anfallende
Abwärme des Prozessors wird über Heatpipes gleichmäßig über das
Metallgehäuse abgegeben. Die maximale Umgebungstemperatur kann hier
bis zu +55ÂC betragen ohne das das Gerät in der Rechenleistung
eingeschränkt ist oder Schaden nimmt.
Der Victum-Note 12 basiert auf einem 1,6 GHz schnellen
Intel-Low-Voltage-Pentium-M-738-Prozessor mit 2MB L2 Cache. Damit
erledigt das Sub-Notebook auch komplexe Rechenaufgaben in kürzester
Zeit. Das 12,1â große Farb-TFT-Display hat eine Auflösung von 1024 x
768 Bildpunkten. Optional ist das Display auch sonnenlichtlesbar mit

Datasys einen preiswerten Industrie Pen PC mit vielen
Ausbaumöglichkeiten an. Der Pen PC ist für den rauen
Industrieeinsatz entwickelt worden. Der Victum-Tablet 27 verfügt
über ein vollkommen geschlossenes Leichtmetallgehäuse und erfüllt
damit die Anforderungen der Militärnorm MIL-STD810F. Das Gerät hat
an der Rückseite einen ausklappbaren Aufsteller womit der PC auch
einfach hingestellt werden kann auf dem Schreibtisch oder Werkbank.
Für die Montage an einem Haltearm verfügt der Victum-Tablet 27 an
der Rückseite über 4 Gewindelöcher. Damit kann der Pen PC ganz
schnell und einfach in Fahrzeuge eingebaut werden, an Gabelstapler
montiert werden oder auch auf Kommissionierwägen. Aus dem
umfangreichen Zubehörprogramm steht auch ein Weitbereichs (10-32V)
DC Netzteil mit Ladefunktion zur Verfügung.
Im Inneren des Gerätes werkelt ein Intel Pentium M
ULV733 Prozessor mit einer Taktrate von 1,1GHz. Der Prozessor
verfügt über einen großen L2 Cache von 2MB, womit der Victum-Tablet
27 auch komplexe Rechenaufgaben flott abarbeitet. Durch den Einsatz
eines ULV Prozessors kommt das Gerät ohne Lüfter aus und ist damit
ultraleise. Standardmäßig hat der Rechner 256MB Hauptspeicher, der
sich auf bis zu 1GB aufrüsten lässt, die Festplatte hat in der
Grundausstattung eine Kapazität von 40GB und ist aufrüstbar bis zu
80GB. Für extreme mechanische Belastungen kann die 2,5â IDE
Festplatte auch durch einen Flashspeicher ersetzt werden. Mit einer
optional erhältlichen Festplattenheizung kann der
Arbeitstemperaturbereich auf â20ÂC erweitert werden. Der normale
Arbeitstemperaturbereich liegt bei 0ÂC bis +55ÂC.
Das eingebaute Farb TFT-Display hat eine
Bildschirmdiagonale von 10,4â (26,4cm) und verfügt über eine XGA
Auflösung mit 1.024 x 768 Bildpunkten. Der Intel 855GM Chipsatz
liefert mit der 64MB shared Memory Graphik brillante Bilder, die für
die meisten Industrieapplikationen vollkommen ausreichen. Ein
resistiver Touchscreen ist beim Victum-Tablet 27 ab Werk bereits
dabei. Für extreme Sonnenlichtlesbarkeit gibt es optional einen
Polarisationsfilter womit der Bildschirm selbst bei extremen
Lichtverhältnissen in der prallen Sonne sehr gut abgelesen werden
kann.
Der Victum-Tablet 27 verfügt über alle Schnittstellen,
die ein moderner Pen PC heute haben muss. Dazu gehören u. a. eine
USB 2.0 Schnittstelle und eine RS232 Schnittstelle, die in der
Industrie immer noch sehr weit verbreitet ist. Ferner bietet der Pen
PC einen PCMCIA Typ I/II Steckplatz mit CardBus Support, ein 56K
Modem mit RJ11 Anschluss, einen DC In Anschluss, einen Mikrofon
Eingang, einen Line Out Anschluss und einen externen VGA Anschluss.
Das Intel PRO/Wireless WLAN Modul funkt nach 802.11 b/g Standard mit
11MBIT/s und 54MBIT/s.
An der Front des Victum-Tablet 27 befindet sich ein
Multifunktionsdisplay welches Informationen über den Betriebszustand
des Gerätes anzeigt, wie z.B. Ladezustand der Akkus. Über Tasten,
die in der Front eingebaut sind kann der Anwender die Lautstärke für
den eingebauten Lautsprecher einstellen, die Helligkeit der
Hintergrundbeleuchtung und den Ladezustand der Akkus abfragen. Der
Victum-Tablet 27 verfügt über zwei Akkus, einer ist fest eingebaut
und der andere ist wechselbar. Damit kann bei dem Pen PC der
Akkuwechsel während des Betriebs erfolgen, ohne dass das Gerät
heruntergefahren werden muss. Voll bestückt läuft der Victum-Tablet
27 ca. 5 Stunden netzunabhängig.
Besonderer Clou beim Victum-Tablet 27 ist seine
Ausbaufähigkeit mit verschiedenen X-BAY Modulen, die in der seitlich
integrierten Mediabay eingeschoben werden können. Der Pen PC ist
damit in sekundenschnelle für verschiedene Einsatzfälle
umkonfiguriert. Insgesamt stehen vier verschiedene Module zur
Verfügung. Modul 1 verfügt über eine zusätzliche RS232
Schnittstelle, eine LAN 10/100Mbit RJ45 Schnittstelle, einen
Firewire Anschluss und einen zusätzlichen USB 2.0 Anschluss. Modul 2
bietet einen zusätzlichen PCMCIA Steckplatz Typ I/II. Modul 3 bietet

zusätzlich noch Bluetooth und GPS Empfänger für Satelliten
Navigation. Damit ist der Victum-Tablet 27 für ein weites Feld von
verschiedensten Anwendungen immer genau nach Anforderung bestens
gerüstet.
Anwendungsgebiete gibt es für den Victum-Tablet 27 in
der Industrie, z. B. in Werkshallen mit hoher Staubbelastung und
Spritzwasser. Im Bereich Wartung zur Darstellung von Wartungsplänen

The Victum-Tablet-iX104C3 is based on a 1.2 GHz
Intel-Ultra-Low-Voltage-Pentium-M-753-Processor. The Tablet PC is a
slate without keyboard. It has a 10.4 Inch XGA-TFT-Display with 1024
x 768 pixels. An AllVue-Technology Display for best sunlight
readability is optional available. With the AllVue Technology the
display is excellent readable even in bright sun. Another
outstanding feature is the DualMode option where the unit can be
operated by finger and/or pen. The DualMode option combines a
digitizer and a touch screen. The Victum-Tablet iX104C3 turns off
the touch screen automatically when a digitizer pen is in operation.
For secure User Log-On the Tablet PC has a fingerprint-sensor.
More technical features of the Victum-iX104C3 are: up
to1 GByte of RAM, a 2.5 Inch HDD embedded in a shock mount with up
to 80 GByte and all I/O-ports of a state of the art Tablet PC â like
2 USB-2.0 ports, 1 VGA port, 1 10/100/1000-Base-T-LAN port RJ45, 1
56K Modem RJ11 and for wireless communication 1 IEEE802.11a/b/g-WLAN
port. Other available options are a Bluetooth module, a GSM/GPRS
module or a GSM/GPRS/ EDGE-Quadband-module. The Tablet-PC supports
AC97-Audio sound with 2 speakers and a microphone. Brand new is the
user accessible PCMCIA slot Type I/II and the user accessible SIM
card slot.
The Victum-Tablet-iX104C3 is enclosed by a small and
slim housing which measures 285 mm x 210 mm x 41 mm only. The total
weight of the unit is 2.1 kg with the standard battery. The
temperature range operational

integrieren. Der Tablet-PC bietet AC97-Audio-Support und enthält
zwei Lautsprecher sowie einen Mikrofonanschluss. Darüber hinaus ist
das Gerät mit einem zugänglichen PCMCIA-Steckplatz, Typ I/II, einem
Mini-PCI- und einem SIM-Steckplatz ausÂgestattet.
Untergebracht ist der Victum-Tablet-iX104C3 in einem
formschönen, schlanken Gehäuse mit Abmessungen von 285 mm x 210 mm x
41 mm. Das GeÂsamtgewicht beträgt nur 2,1 kg. Der Tablet-PC arbeitet

LE1600TS Tablet PC combines high Performance with intuitive
operability

Acturion Datasys offers with the Motion LE1600TS a handy
Slate-Tablet-PC with a 12.1-Inch-Touchscreen. The intuitive operable
Slate is especially designed for operation by professional users
with a minimum of handwritten notes. The LE1600TS is ideal for
applications in vertical markets like transport, logistics,
machinery, mobile PoS, Hotel, Retail and Health Care.
The Slate-Tablet-PC has the measures of a clipboard
and can be easily carried and operated while holding it in the arm.
The total weight of the Tablet-PC is less than 1.8 kg. The LS1600TS
is equipped with a resistive Touchscreen and additional installed
Touch-Pack which ensures that the handwriting recognition software
works properly. With the help of a special membrane the Slate can
discern between a palm on the screen and the tip of a Stylus Pen or
finger to enter data into the PC. The Touchscreen simplifies the
access to data in the PC and also simplifies the entering of data
into the PC.
The LE1600TS is based on the compact and ergonomically
optimized design of the Motion Computing LE1600 with digitizer. The
Slate-Tablet-PC is equipped with an Intel-Centrino-Mobile
Pentium-M-LV-758 CPU running at 1.5GHz,
Mobile-Intel-915GMS-ExpressChiset and 2MB L2-Cache. The LS1600TS is
also available with an Intel-Celeron-M-ULV-383 CPU running at 1GHz
and with 512MB L2-Cache. The Celeron version represents the small
budget solution where less CPU performance is required. The LS1600TS
always comes with a Microsoft Windows XP Tablet edition installed
and has safety features like fingerprint sensor for user Log-In and
Trusted-Platform-Module installed with Hardware-Encryption.
With the standard battery the Tablet-PC runs for
approx. 3.5 hours. With the extended battery (option) the LE1600TS
runs up to 8 hours. The extended battery can be clipped on at the
backside of the Slate-Tablet-PC.
For wireless communication the Slate-Tablet-PC offers
an Intel PRO/Wireless-2200BG port WiFi with the latest 802.11 a/b/g
standard, additionally the LE1600TS has also a Bluetooth class 2
module. Besides the Tablet-PC has an IrDA port for communication
with other peripherals like PDAs or mobile phones. Further
integrated ports are 2 USB 2.0, 1 DVI-D, 1 Gigabit LAN and 1
external VGA. The HDD has a 1.8 Inch form factor with 30GB or 60GB
capacity. 512MB of RAM are standard which can be upgraded to 1.5GB.
For more options for communication or storage the LE1600TS has 1
PC-Card Type I/II slot with CardBus support and 1 SD-Card slot.
The LE1600TS has an ultra-slim housing which measures
296 x 245 x 18.7 mm and consists of carbon-fibre on the front and

Acturion Datasys bietet mit dem Motion LE1600TS einen
handlichen Slate-Tablet-PC mit 12,1-Zoll-Touchscreen. Das intuitiv
